Evaluation intermédiaire / contrôle continu 1Langue utilisée pour l'évaluation : AnglaisReal-World Praxis Project II: Two Translations and a Technological Innovation The ability to translate data, quantitative information, and statistics into creative, relatable imagery, narratives, and story is a challenge. Similarly, going the other direction can be just as challenging: how does one quantify creativity, emotion, and innovative thinking? For this challenge, your team is to complete three tasks: 1) find and translate quantitative marketing information into a compelling creative, visual, and/or narrative output, 2) find and translate creative/qualitative marketing information into clear, concise, and quantifiable output, and 3) propose and name a new AI-based solution for a common marketing task, discussing how the technology can be taught to follow a particular set of rules or algorithms to complete a marketing task. The team will present its three components in a 5-10 minute presentation. Be sure to show the before-and-after (i.e., datacreative, creativedata), as well as to discuss the benefits and limitations of automating whatever marketing task you choose.

Evaluation intermédiaire / contrôle continu 2Langue utilisée pour l'évaluation : AnglaisReal-World Praxis Project IV: The Marketing Team Leaders of Tomorrow (15%) Predicting the future can be difficult. Consider, for example, how the global pandemic upended business and day-to-day life around the world despite the fact that several health experts had warned about the possibility of a deadly pandemic and encouraged the development of response plans. Having a plan is better than having no plan, particularly when the unexpected arrives. For this final task, you and your group are asked to imagine the future of marketing. Knowing what you know about emerging technology, social trends, consumer expectations, and business initiatives, you should create a 5-10 minute presentation capturing 1) what you believe the future of marketing looks like (5-10 years from now and beyond), 2) why you think this will be the future of marketing (i.e., what evidence or trends suggest this will be the case)?, and 3) what companies should start doing now to position themselves at the forefront of this new marketing paradigm. Be creative. Be specific. Be concise. The recorded presentation can be uploaded to our class Dropbox at jimmourey.com/MTL.

Evaluation finaleThe individual assignment–A Personal Reflection of My Relationship-Building Abilities–requires you to reflect on your relationship-building assets and liabilities as identified by the RelatEdTM Relationship Diagnostic. Specifically, you should review the results of your diagnostic and write a 2-page paper discussing: - The extent to which you agree/disagree with the diagnostic’s summary of your relationship skills - Assets: How you plan to leverage your strengths in your future marketing roles/positions - Liabilities: How you intend to address and improve your relationship-building weaknesses - One innovative team-building activity inspired by one of your identified assets/strengths - One innovative team-building activity inspired by fixing one of your identified liabilities/weaknesses - How you intend to use the diagnostic and/or its framework (i.e., the four factors, the 15 fixables) to think about relationships in a variety of marketing contexts (e.g., customers, colleagues, clients/partners, etc.) Your individual assignment should be no more than two-pages, single-spaced, with 12-pt. Times New Roman font. The assignment is meant to be personal, to encourage you to think about your growth and future as a marketing professional, and to help you identify ways that being proactive about your relationship development and maintenance will benefit your career growth and enhance your overall quality of life. You can upload the assignment to our class upload folder within a week of our class finishing (to give you some time) 
