Matière
Migration and Human Rights
Description
Although not a new subject, contemporary challenges stemming from the war in Europe to climate change raise new issues in this field, in particular since many countries experience contradictory movements regarding migration: from a public opinion who seems more reluctant to welcome migrants, with political actors using this issue for political gains, to the reality of demographics and economics of ageing societies. This seminar seeks to explore the legal protection offered by Human Rights Law to migrants and the gaps that the legal framework has yet to fill in the face of new challenges such as climate change.
