Compétences requises

Physics: Thermodynamics 1 (L1S1/UFAZ), or similar level in classical thermodynamics (1st & 2nd laws).

Maths: multivariable functions, total differential, partial differentials.

Compétences visées

The student will be able to use the fundamental laws of thermodynamics and the concepts derived from them to study practical applications represented by thermodynamic cycles (engines, cooling systems). He will be able to analyze equilibrium states within mixtures (simple phase diagrams).
