Description

This course is an introduction to AI: history of AI and its basic concept. It presents intelligent agents: what is an agent, how agent interact in an environment? State space search is introduced including uninformed search and informed search, A* algorithm and its practical applications, adversarial search.
The course also covers Constraint Satisfaction problems, First order logic, an introduction to machine learning and neural networks.

Compétences visées

At the end of the course the students will have:

  • a comprehensive view of the domain where AI is a relevant tool.

  • a working knowledge of some important algorithms of AI
