Description

This course aims to familiarise students with basic concepts of culture and cross-cultural communication so as to enhance their cross-cultural awareness and understanding of the impact of culture in business situations.

Compétences visées

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to :

- (level 4) analyze the effectiveness of cross-cultural management in multinational organizations
- (level 1) identify culture-specific emotional, mental and behavioural patterns
- (level 2) differentiate between the personal, organisational and national components of culture
- (level 1) describe cultural dimensions
- (level 5) develop an awareness of key cross-cultural skills, attitudes and behaviours
- (level 3) demonstrate an ability to lead projects in international teams
