À travers la réalisation pratique d’un système, d’un outil informatique ou d’un modèle numérique ou mathématique appliqué à la biologie, mener un projet sur un domaine émergent pour :

• se familiariser à faire un cahier des charges avec un client, planifier les tâches, gérer des ressources, présenter son travail et travailler en équipe.
• apprendre à communiquer avec des étudiants et des spécialistes dans d’autres domaines en biologie, pharmacie ou chimie.
• apprendre à faire une recherche bibliographique qui permet de situer son travail. 

Réaliser un projet appliqué directement au domaine de la biologie

Communiquer avec des enseignants-chercheurs et étudiants d’un autre domaine

Through the practical creation of a system, a computer tool or a numerical model applied to biology, carry out a project in an emerging field in order to:

• become familiar with drawing up specifications with a client, planning tasks, managing resources, presenting your work and working in a team.
  
• learn to communicate with students and specialists in other fields in biology, pharmacy or chemistry.
  
• learn to do bibliographic research that allows you to situate your work.

Syllabus

Les projets seront réalisés en binôme ou trinôme. Les sujets seront proposés et suivis par des chercheurs dans le domaine de la biologie partenaire de l’ITI InnoVEC, ex-InBIO (https://innovec.unistra.fr). Pour chaque projet il y a :

• un client qui définit le besoin (souvent autour de la vectorisation de médicament qui est le thème de l’ITI)
• un tuteur qui s’assure que la partie technique du travail progresse
• un biologiste référent pour aider sur les questions en biologie
• des étudiants de l’ITI InnoVec en biologie, pharmacie ou chimie avec qui interagir

Les superviseurs organisent les présentations de projets, une présentation intermédiaire mi-parcours début novembre et une présentation finale début février. Un rapport bibliographique, un cahier des charges et un planning sont à rendre à mi-parcours. Un rapport final est à rendre à la fin. La note finale est basée sur la présentation finale, le rapport final et le travail fourni basé sur le retour des clients et tuteurs.

The projects will be carried out in a group of 2 or 3. The topics will be proposed and followed by researchers in the field of biology partner of ITI InnoVEC, formerly InBIO (https://innovec.unistra.fr). For each project there are:

• a client who defines the need (often around drug vectorization, the theme of the ITI)
• a tutor who ensures that the technical part of the work progresses
• a reference biologist to help with questions in biology ITI InnoVec students in biology, pharmacy or chemistry to interact with

Supervisors organize project presentations, an intermediate mid-term presentation in early November and a final presentation in early February. A bibliographic report, specifications and a schedule are due halfway through. A final report is due at the end. The final grade is based on the final presentation, the final report and the work provided based on feedback from clients and tutors.
